A car was set on fire in Tuen Mun.
At about 3:26 in the morning today (8th), an Audi private car burst into flames and an explosion sounded on the roadside of Huanggang Wai Road outside Fuheng Village.
Firefighters rushed to put out the fire. After investigation, it was believed that the cause of the fire was suspicious. The police classified the case as "arson" and are now investigating the incident.

What was seen at the scene showed that the private car that caught fire had been burned to scrap metal, but the front part of the car was in relatively good condition. The "ghost mask" and the front part of the car were visible, with signs of damage and dents.
Last night (7th), a 14-year-old third-grade boy was crossing the road on the Castle Peak Highway-Ping Shan section in Yuen Long when he was hit by an unknown private car more than ten meters away.
Police are now investigating whether the two cases are related.
