that Reese Witherspoon (47 years old) and her husband, Jim Toth (52 years old), published this Friday on social networks jointly to announce their separation after 11 years of marriage.
According to US media, the now ex-partner would have celebrated her twelfth anniversary this coming Sunday.
"The difficult decision to divorce has been taken with great care and consideration," they continue, "we have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and we are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for all that we have created together."
Both assure in the short text that their priority is their son, Tennessee James (10 years old), as they go through this next chapter of their lives: “These issues are never easy and they are extremely personal.
We really appreciate everyone's respect for our family's privacy at this time."
