Where is Melania?
The former First Lady's absence from Donald Trump's rally in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, a few hours before the historic court appearance in Manhattan did not go unnoticed
and
newspapers speculate that for the former presidential couple divorce is every ever closer.
The crisis between Donald and Melania has certainly not started these days.
Since the end of the mogul's term in the White House, the media had speculated that the 49-year-old former model had decided to
lead a separate life from her husband
and focus exclusively on their son Barron, now 17.
But the coup de grace to the marriage would come with the accusation of the former president for payments to the porn star Stormy Daniels.
A romance that Trump
had just four months after marrying Melania
and while she was pregnant.
If his infidelity with an actress wasn't enough, another affair with former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal and
an alleged illegitimate child has also surfaced in charging documents.
The media had speculated that the former model had decided to lead a separate life from her husband.

So much so even for the "Slovene effigy",
as she is called with little affection in British newspapers due to her tendency as First Lady to talk little and interact less.
"Mrs Trump is strong, focused on her family and
supports her husband as she always has
," two sources told the
Daily Mail.
And yet, aside from an appearance at the resort dinner alongside the former president on the night of the impeachment, draped in a fiery red dress,
Melania has disappeared from the media radar.
He was not even on the passenger list of the private flight that took the tycoon to New York.
She then appeared at Trump Tower a few hours later, ever so dapper in a cream coat and the ubiquitous sunglasses, while her husband sat in the Manhattan courthouse dock a few miles away.
Then all traces of her disappeared again: she did not get off the plane in Florida, she did not appear at the Mar-a-Lago ballroom to listen to her husband's speech, who did not even mention her when he thanked his family.
If the breakup rumors are confirmed, Trump will set another record.
He will not only be the first former US president to be impeached, but
also the first to be divorced.

Bad signal
It is not a good business card for that sector of his super Christian voters.
The other notable absentee at Mar-a-Lago was daughter and former attorney Ivanka, who remained in Miami with her husband Jared Kushner and their children.
The former daughter had announced some time ago that she wanted to take a step back in public life and
did not want to follow the magnate in his second political adventure.
On Thursday, following news of the indictment, he issued a terse statement saying he "loves his father" and the United States.
