On the road that leads from Havana to the airport of the capital, Jose-Marti, the Cupet gas station is busier than a nightclub.
A huge line of colorful vehicles formed over nearly 2 km to fill up at this gas station in the Boyeros district.
The same scenario is repeated nationwide.

Stationary Moskviches in their forties rub shoulders with Chevrolets from the 1940s. Hundreds of motorists wait their turn for a few hours and sometimes a day to fill up.
