In the early 1990s, the 56-year-old presented the popular children's show "Bim Bam Bino" and became known throughout Germany.
But since 2015 she has suddenly disappeared from the spotlight.
Now she reveals where she was and what she did.
Gundis Zámbó: First a moderator, then trash TV, then radio silence
Gundis Zámbó had her breakthrough as the presenter of the children's show "Bim Bam Bino".
After that she also tried her hand as an actress and landed a few smaller roles in series and soaps such as “Derrick”, “Der Alte” or “Marienhof”.
In 2007 her autobiography My Secret Hunger was published.

In January 2009, she moved to the jungle camp with Giulia Siegel (48), Ingrid van Bergen (91) and Lorielle London (39).
She didn't win, she had to leave shortly before the final.
In the same year she was seen in the German "Playboy".
In 2015, she made her last public appearance on the TV show Secret Hunters.
Then it suddenly became quiet around Gundis Zámbó.

Another star that has been quiet about: Marie Persson played Annika in the "Pippi Longstocking" film adaptations.
But nothing is left of the glory of bygone days.

Gundis Zámbó may have turned her back on the flashbulbs, but she was by no means lazy.
The former moderator trained as an alternative practitioner for psychotherapy.
"I'm currently working a lot, for the first time in a long time in a permanent position: In the clinic of Prof. Dr.
Marcus Backmund in Tutzing,” reveals the former moderator of the evening newspaper.
"It's a change from my previous job, but this job fulfills me."
