The spring festival of the rural youth in Höfen was again a great success this year. But it could have had a dramatic ending.
Munich/Höfen – A big tractor meeting, the performance of the mood bands "Pfundskerle" and "LätsFetz", beer and Jägermeister made for exuberant evenings at the spring festival of the rural youth in Höfen in the Tyrolean Außerfern. The town is located in Austria, only 20 kilometers south of Füssen (Ostallgäu).
Dramatic scenes at the country youth festival: man drives off with a car – suddenly loud screams sound
When a 7-year-old guest left the party at 1:20 a.m. on Sunday (May 29) and wanted to drive to Hausen by car, the near-disaster occurred: The young man started the car and drove off. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a loud scream rang out from under the car. The 21-year-old immediately stopped the car, knelt down and looked under the car: there was a 33-year-old who was screaming like crazy.
The 33-year-old had gone to sleep drunk under the car. The 33-year-old suffered injuries of undetermined degree in the accident. An ambulance took him to the hospital in Reutte in Tyrol. The investigations of the Tyrolean police are still ongoing.
