A photograph that will remain in history. The first official photo of King Charles III was unveiled on Monday, May 8. It is the account of the royal family (@RoyalFamily) that published in preview the portrait.
Imperial crown on his head, scepter in his right hand and orb in his left hand, the sovereign fixes the objective. Dressed in ceremonial attire, he poses in the throne room of Buckingham Palace, London.
Unlike his mother, Elizabeth II, who stood in the photo of her coronation in 1953, Charles III is seated. It stands on one of two 1902 chairs that were made for the future King George V and Queen Mary in preparation for the coronation of King Edward VII.

Knowing that we have your support and encouragement, and witnessing your kindness expressed in so many different ways, was the greatest coronation gift," he also wrote.
