A 19-year-old woman died on Monday in Madrid after a head-on collision between two cars that overturned one of them on Avenida de Andalucía, in the Madrid district of Usera, according to Emergencias Madrid. One of the two cars involved in the accident, which occurred at 19 a.m., was a VTC car, an Emergencies spokesman told EFE. The 19-year-old, who has since died, and two others aged 20 and <>, one of whom had a minor contusion and the other an anxiety attack, were travelling in the car. The girl who had anxiety attacks has been transferred to the Doce de Octubre hospital and the bruised, of a mild nature, to the San Carlos Clinic.

From the VTC, the 24-year-old passenger has been transferred to the Doce de Octubre with mild rib trauma, while the driver has been unharmed. Firefighters had to intervene to rescue the victims. The investigation of the accident has been carried out by the Madrid Municipal Police and the National Police.
