Well, theoretically, the EVM is not quite out of the fight for the first four places. But in addition to the three-point deficit of the fourth VfE Ulm / Neu-Ulm, there is also a catch-up game (at home against Dingolfing) and their significantly better goal difference (Ulm +18, Moosburg -11) for the Swabians. "This is really only an issue in theory. In practice, the decision has already been made, ”says EVM spokesman Bastian Amann. And not to forget: the (tied) Hassfurters are also in the table before green-yellow.
The traveling Moosburg fans, together with around 500 Dingolfing fans, had a quick start for their team: Stefan Groß shot the guests in the lead after just a Maier pass after just 21 seconds. The Isarrats equalized in the 6th minute, the current scorer from duty at the EVM, Max Retzer (three goals this weekend), but made it 2-1 in the 10th minute. The EVD owed the renewed equalization to a collective deep sleep phase of the Moosburg defense shortly before the first break.
The local duel, which was not carried out with 100 percent commitment from either side, flattened out in the second round and hardly offered any highlights. Only worth mentioning: Ex-Dreirosenstadt player Daniel Schander marked the second lead for Dingolfing after 18 minutes with his second goal, a good two minutes later EVM defender Vincenz Maier dusted it off to 3: 3.

They took the lead again twelve minutes before the final siren - which did not change in the final phase.
The guests threw everything forward again, but when Bernie Englbrecht brought in a sixth outfield for goalkeeper Linus Messerer, Dingolfing made the final decision with an empty net goal.
