(ANSA) - IVREA (TURIN), 15 DEC - He leaves Ivrea prison and steals a car at a service station, right in front of the Ivrea district house. A 28-year-old Rivarolo Canavese, just released from prison the other afternoon, was arrested by the carabinieri after a long chase, which lasted several kilometers.
The fugitive was intercepted by a gazelle of the Ivrea nucleoradi car along the provincial 565 piedmont, aboard the red Renault Twingo stolen a little earlier. A tremendous escape has matured: the Twingo with insane speed has crossed several inhabited centers in an attempt to sow seeds of the Arma. The man, who reached the height of Castellamonte, bumped lightly against a wall at the side of the road and left the vehicle trying to disappear on foot. Near the Giraudo school of Castellamonte it was blocked and stopped. He immediately returned to prison.
