TV State China cancels Arsenal match

(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 15 - Chinese state television CCTV has announced that it will not broadcast the Arsenal-ManchesterCity game scheduled today after the tweet of German footballer-born Gunners, Mesut Ozil, who has lined up against the persecution of the Muslim minority of the Uighurs who call on the Chinese province of Xinjiang, condemning the silence of Muslim countries over abuse. Arsenal had, among other things, distanced itself from the words of the owner, but evidently it was not enough.
