(ANSA) - BEIJING, DECEMBER 17 - The second Chinese aircraft carrier, the first 'made in China', officially entered service with a ceremony held in Sanya, on the southern island of Hainan, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, head of the Commission military center. The Type-001A, the name of the ship built in Dalian shipyards, was baptized with the name of Shandong, from the province of the same name, referred to the Cctv public TV. Liaoning, the first door made on a Soviet-made hull, has been a service since 2012.
