Cucinelli, monks return to the center of Norcia

After the earthquake of 30 October 2016, the monastic community, now led by the prior Father Benedetto Nivakoff, moved to San Benedetto in Monte, about two kilometers from the center of the city and work began to build the new monastery that should rise in about three years. The premises of that ancient, close to the Basilica of San Benedetto, are in the hands of the diocese of Spoleto-Norcia, which still owned it.
The wish of Cucinelli is "to go back to listening, passing through Piazza San Benedetto, their liturgies, their songs".
