The Revenue-Collection Agency has in fact suspended the notification of documents from 24 December to 6 January to avoid inconvenience to taxpayers in this particular period of the year. In the two weeks between Christmas and Epiphany, approximately 322 thousand documents were expected to be sent, which will remain suspended with the exception of mandatory ones (approximately 17 thousand) which must in any case be notified, mostly via certified e-mail.
