(ANSA) - PIETRELCINA (BENEVENTO), DECEMBER 27 - Two workers from the former Ilva of Taranto and two from the Whirlpool of Napolia were accompanied by their respective families, together with the mayor Domenico Masone, to inaugurate the 2019 edition of the nativity scene in Pietrelcina, the birthplace of St. Pio.
Recalling that the theme of this year's crib is dedicated to health, work and legality, Mayor Masone hadetto that "the land of Padre Pio wants to be the custodian of his spiritual message which translates into love for one's neighbor, for the solidarity, human dignity in the sign also of the teaching of Pope Francis, who was here to remember the importance of sharing, generosity, altruism that must characterize the present ".
"If San Pio fulfills our desire, that of not losing his job, then we will all come on pilgrimage here to Pietrelcina," said the gaiperai in unison. To celebrate the mass was Msgr. Francesco Orazio Piazza, bishop of Sessa Aurunca. (ANSA).
