Libya: Mitiga airport closed

(ANSA) - CAIRO, 22 JAN - "Suspension of all flights to Mitiga international airport until further notice after the bullets" that hit the airport: the airport's Facebook page announced. "The fall of the bullets took place at the time of the landing, which then took place safely at a measurement, of a Libyan Airlines plane from the Carthage airport" in Tunisia, states the airport. I note that the forces of General Khalifa Haftar have repeatedly scanned the airport, located less than ten km from the center, claiming that it is needed to bring military aid to Tripoli in support of the government of Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj.
