The number of dead and people infected with the new coronavirus from China is still rising this Sunday morning: the country reports 56 dead, including a first in the capital Shanghai, and nearly 2,000 people affected.

PSA evacuates 38 foreigners. The automotive group PSA, which has factories in Wuhan, said its expatriate employees would be evacuated to Changsha, a city more than 300 km south of Wuhan. Quarantine will be put in place before repatriation to the countries of origin. "This initiative is being implemented in full coordination with the Chinese authorities and the French Consulate General," said the automaker. 38 people are affected. At the same time, PSA said it was working for "all measures to take care of Chinese employees in their joint venture DPCA".
No date for the French. France is considering an evacuation by coach of its nationals, in connection with the Chinese authorities, announced Friday the Quai d'Orsay, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The date of this transfer has not been specified.
A weakly deadly virus so far. The study of the first cases, however, tends to show that the mortality rate of the virus is quite low. This rate "is, for the moment, of less than 5%", judges the French professor Yazdan Yazdanpanah, expert near the WHO (World health organization), which took care of patients in France. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS), with 774 deaths worldwide in 2002-2003, had a mortality rate of 9.5%.
