(ANSA) - BOLZANO, JAN 28 - It was not the smell of fried food, the smell of sweets that sparked the protests of the neighbors which led to the closure of the Sluka patisserie laboratory in the town hall in Vienna. The historic patisserie, founded in 1891, in its long history has also supplied the Austro-Hungarian imperial cakes with sweets. However, the perfume does not seem to be liked by the neighbors, and after a long arm of iron they have imposed a stop on production. "The Sluka pastry shop in Piazza Municipio remains open. The supply of sweets will take place through the branch in Kärntner Strasse", ensures the managing director Friedrich Deiser on social media. "For our customers - he adds - nothing will change and our pastry art remains unchanged even in its ingredients as in the times of the Austro-Hungarian Empire".
