Maor Cohen is both a singer and an entertainer, and recently he combines the two things together in a single show called "Stand Rock," and tonight, we will get a taste of him in "Gimlive" which will be broadcast from 9pm on "Here Gimel" and "Israel Today".
Maor Cohen's career is long and fascinating. He began his career as a high school student in the Safed Elders band, and it was discovered with an unconventional version of the "What do you do when you get up in the morning" song by Einstein and Hanoch, and later recorded "Friday-Saturday," one of the greatest anthems of the 1990s .
Later on, Cohen ran from composition to composition and style to style when he was in the "flies", "Israelis / action / sex", "duo" and "blinds" bands. In 1999, Cohen recorded his solo album, which featured "What's Known About This Day" and "The Most Beautiful in the World."
He later recorded other solo albums, one of which surprised him with an album that was all translations of the songs of the French poet Charles Baudelaire, and in 2008, in a huge success in the framework of "Hebrew work", he renewed "Song of Small Day", which originally sang Ilanit, and contributed quite a bit to the song Most played in the 21st century.
He shows up a lot with his good friend Peter Roth, and now - in the new single "Stand Rock". Maor Cohen will appear in Tel Aviv together on February 20 and at the Performing Arts Center in Raanana, February 29.
