Purim holiday is approaching huge strides, and it's time to get organized

Next week we will celebrate Purim. The creative among us will be looking to put together a home costume from the private closet, and many will settle for a live figure or fairy tale makeup.

Shani Yefarah, a makeup artist and makeup artist from the makeup brand Scarara, demonstrates model Uriah Cohen's makeup for the mermaid figure - step by step.

Step 1: Base

Let's start the makeup job with a clean face. Apply a moisturizer and a primer over it, both of which are a good foundation for continued makeup. Place concealer to create skin tone uniformity under eyes, pimples, redness, nose and mouth. Apply a swab or brush over a make-up that is used daily and over spritz and firmly set in a transparent compacted powder to create a durable and ideal base for continued makeup.

Step 2: Draw the scales

To simulate the appearance of the mermaid scales, we perform the shading of the cheekbones and foreheads with a mesh. Cut from tights or any perforated mesh, and place on the cheekbones at an elevated angle toward the temples. Dedicated Purim or richly pigmented pixel and glitter shadows are used to color the area in three colors side by side, silver, pink and purple.

The eyeshadow is applied with a slight patterning technique over the placed web, dipping a brush in the selected eyeshadow powder and repetitive patterning to create a scaly three-color scaly appearance.

Step 3: Make up your eyes and eyebrows

The eyes are made with a metallic silvery shade. Define the eye with a thick eyeliner strip using a durable black gel eyeliner. Eyelashes are smeared on the lashes, with the addition of lashes to add volume and presence. Then, it is important to comb and set the eyebrows with the help of an eyebrow primer and a transparent eyebrow gel.

Step 4: Lips

We will emphasize the lips with a pink colored pencil. The lipstick filler will be resistant to a matching pink shade.

Step 5: Hair

To complete the look, it is advisable to paste glittering gems on the sides of the eyes for interior decoration. You can also draw small silver dots with a silvery water color on the face. The hair is recommended to be dyed with special hair color, fine hair spray in mermaid locks, especially at the bottom of the hair and ends in pink, purple and blue, and lightly combed.
