The INV, which brings together VTC associations and unions across France according to its coordinator Brahim Ben Ali, had invited the drivers to “ completely switch off all apps ”, that is to say to disconnect from the platforms VTC type Uber, Kapten and Marcel. At Aubervilliers, they all completed and sent the form at the same time to request the transmission of their personal data, in particular the connection, waiting and approach times, as well as the number of disconnections by Uber for cancellation of race. " I bet everything on this job as a driver so the fight affects me a lot, " said Diallo Fadia. I chose to work for myself, but in the end I worked for Uber. Responsible for several Uber drivers, to whom he notably procured a car, Tony Lahoud, for his part, wanted to " defend the people who work ". Regarding the judgment on Wednesday of the Court of Cassation reclassifying the link between Uber and its drivers as an employment contract, he considered that " no one wants to be an employee ". " If tomorrow Uber abides by the rules and sets correct prices, I believe that the driver is not going to worry about going elsewhere, " he added. Several hundred French Uber drivers have since mid-November blocked the logistics centers of the platform, to protest against a change in procedures which suspends a driver in the event of repeated refusal of a race, depriving him of work . The drivers also denounce the level of commission charged by Uber.
