The health authorities confirmed on Friday the third case of coronavirus in Argentina, while studies are being conducted on people who could have contracted the disease that broke out in China.
This is a man who would have had contact with the 23-year-old who was hospitalized on Thursday after taking a trip to Italy.
Meanwhile, an Italian tourist was isolated and quarantined this Friday when considering her case as a covid-19 coronavirus suspect. In this regard, the Minister of Health of Buenos Aires, Fernán González Bernaldo de Quirós, clarified that the woman "is in good health."
It was reported that she had been transferred in an SAME ambulance from the NH Buenos Aires City hotel in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Monserrat where she was staying and "will complete her 14 days of isolation at another site."
Earlier, the Secretary of Access to Health of Argentina, Carla Vizzotti asked that those people who presume to have symptoms of the disease do not go to a health center on their own but call 107 before "where trained staff will attend"
This measure seeks to minimize the possibility of contagion.
