(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 20 - From group readings to exhibitions, scientific meetings, restorations, festivals, even themed parks. Launched in January by the ministry of culture with the help of Poste Italiane, Dantedì, or the day that this year was supposed to open the celebrations for the 700th anniversary of the death of the Florentine poet, unfortunately ended up in the list of major events that the coronavirus pandemic has fattosaltare. Not entirely, though. Because while waiting for the labufera to pass and for better days to come back in which it will be possible to give life to the many, many initiatives that almost all the Italian communities had planned for the National Day established by the government, on Dantedì we will all celebrate together at 12 on March 25 in a sort of collective flash mob readings of the Divine Comedy and then throughout the day on the web and in the media. Schools will participate, with educating students invited by the ministry of education to interrupt distance elections for a few tens of minutes at noon. But the appeal - underlined by Mibact - is addressed to everyone. The celebrations will continue throughout the day on social networks, with pills, streaming readings, performances dedicated to Dante, with the official hashtags # Dantedìe #IoleggoDante. A first edition that takes place in a particularly difficult moment, Minister Franceschini points out, who appeals to the artists: "on March 25 read Dante and post your contents. Dante is the Italian language, it is the very idea of Italy. And it is precisely in this moment which is even more important to remember to stay united ". Appeal shared by Education Minister Lucia Azzolina. (HANDLE).
