Press: network resists, online sales climb

Only a minority of outlets have closed. The French subscribe to digital offers.


A week after the implementation of the containment measures, the situation in the press sector seems rather to stabilize. Despite the health crisis, the distribution network as a whole resisted. La Poste - even if it could reduce the load - continues to operate, and only 15%, or 3000 of the 21,500 outlets, have closed. At the current rate, a few hundred are closing every day. All hope temporarily.
