(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 02 - The European Softball Federation (ESF) has announced the postponement of competitions for National softball teams, starting from the absolute European Championship which should have been held at the beginning of June in Friuli Venezia-Giulia.
The new dates for the maximum continental competition, confirmed for the Castions delle Mura, Castions di Strada, Cervignano, Porpetto and Ronchi dei Legionari locations, are from 20 to 26 September.
The postponement of the European softball championship to September 28 - October 3 in the Czech Republic has also been prepared.
The first edition of the U15 European Championship, heir to the U16 category, which will see Italy committed and should have been held in Enschede, Olandan in July, will also be postponed, but still to be decided. This is the only competition subject to submission which was initially scheduled after 30 June.
June 15 will be the last available date to confirm the contest for these competitions, which qualify for the respective 2021 World Championships.
All other competitions organized by the ESF, with the exception of the European Masters Cup in Saint Boi at the end of October, have been canceled, including all Club Cups. (ANSA).
