"The number of corona victims in Israel stands at 148 this morning (Friday), according to the Ministry of Health data. There are six additional deaths compared to the last update, which stood at 142. In total, 12,855 patients have been diagnosed in Israel so far - an increase of 97 patients compared to the last update. As for the level of morbidity in localities, in the Deir al-Assad locality, which is emerging as a new outbreak, the number of patients has risen from 30 to 45 - a 50 percent increase.

The number of breaths dropped by eight from 137 to 129. The number of patients in serious condition is 182. Wolfson Hospital said that the night she died in another 76-year-old coronary patient suffering from background illness, who came from "Neot High School" - the Jaffa nursing home where eight patients have so far been diagnosed. 

In addition, a 66-year-old resident of Corona patient who was hospitalized a month ago and was in severe anesthesia and shortness of breath, passed away this morning in the Corona Department at Carmel Medical Center of the General Group. Corona Department Director Carmel Dr. Shani Brosh noted that despite the efforts of staff and dedicated care of the entire medical and nursing staff, the patient's condition deteriorated and he passed away in the morning. The patient's family separated him respectfully in the control room. This is the first Corona patient who died in Carmel. The patients said: "We participate in the deep grief of the family and give our condolences."

Shaare Zedek Hospital reported yesterday that she died in the isolated ward of an 84-year-old patient with a background illness. Also, a 96-year-old patient with background illness passed away at Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera.

Yesterday it was reported that according to the NSC (headquarters for national security) there was another drop in the corona detection tests. On Tuesday (Wednesday) 9,269 tests were performed, compared to 11,718 on Tuesday.

The outbreak in nursing homes in Israel continues when yesterday's Amigour company "Zahavit" in Ashkelon reported 32 people were infected with the Corona virus.
