A survey conducted in the ultra-Orthodox sector and published today (Monday) reveals very encouraging results about the attitude of the ultra-Orthodox to their corona virus and their coping with it. According to the sample, which was attended by 639 adult ultra-Orthodox, 95 percent of them take care of wearing masks in the public space, and 85 percent of them do not stay more than 100 meters away from their home, except for essential needs.

Other data are also encouraging - 88.9 percent of respondents say they keep their hands disinfected every time they come in and out of the home, 93 percent make sure not to travel with more than one other passenger in the vehicle, despite the related difficulties, and 92.2 percent say they keep At least two meters from other citizens in the public space.

These results indicate a change in the attitude of the ultra-Orthodox society in dealing with the virus, and they contrast with how the secular society views the ultra-Orthodox public as part of the struggle. So far, many have argued that the ultra-Orthodox disrespect the government's instructions, hold a religious stance that does not strictly adhere to the halakhic provisions itself, which must be careful not to harm others, show an unwillingness to listen to counter-arguments and to look in the mirror, accuse false accusations of "anti-Semitism" About the Public Rules of Conduct.
