Coronavirus in Argentina: 4 other deaths and 143 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours

This Thursday there were 4 new deaths and 143 infected with coronavirus in Argentina, according to the report of the Ministry of Health of the Nation.

The province of Buenos Aires maintains the highest rate of COVID-19 cases, followed by theBuenos aires city.

A new death had been reported in the morning part . This is a 71-year-old man, resident in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA).

Likewise, it was specified in the morning statement that  of the total of confirmed cases 21.3% are imported, 42.8% are close contacts of confirmed cases, 24.3% are cases of community circulation and the rest are under investigation epidemiological.

Of the total cases , 50.1% are women and 49.9% are men, while the total discharges, to date, is 1,256 people.

This Thursday there were also tests in Retiro. 420 people participated voluntarily. Of the total cases (420), 7 tested positive. 5 record travel history. All the positive people, studied the disease and today are without the virus.

So far, three days of sampling were carried out at the stations of Constitución, Retiro and Once. The total of samples carried out was already 1,280 people.

President Alberto Fernández had announced on Saturday the extension of the general quarantine against the coronavirus until May 10.
