Since then, TF1 and production, ITV Studios, have been looking for the martingale to be able to ensure the last evenings of this ninth season while respecting sanitary conditions. This Monday afternoon, the front page announced in a press release that the semi-final, presented by Nikos Aliagas and Karine Ferri, would finally be held on Saturday June 6 at 9:05 pm, and the final the following Saturday.

Without audience, these two evenings will take place semi-live. First, the candidates will record their performances in a studio in Plaine-Saint-Denis, facing the coaches, Marc Lavoine, Amel Bent, Pascal Obispo, in armchairs more widely spaced than usual. Lara Fabian, she will intervene remotely from her home in Quebec. In the semi-finals, viewers will be invited to vote by SMS to choose the 4 finalists from among the 12 talents in competition, all teams combined.

Then, Nikos Aliagas will reveal the results live, in front of the candidates and the jurors glued to their screen during a live videoconference. Same process for the final on June 13. The final of "Koh-Lanta" scheduled for June 5

A novelty for the telecrochet launched in France in 2012. "This organization will make it possible to drastically reduce the number of people on site, and therefore to comply with sanitary conditions, while offering a quality show" maintains a member of the team. "For the first time, the public will have full powers", welcomes TF1 in its press release. "This means that the result of the votes, at the end of the semi-final, could give rise to a situation never seen before: no guarantee that there will be a talent from each team in the final". What further boost audiences for this season 9, up 430,000 viewers with nearly 5 million followers on average. The finale of "Koh-Lanta", the other major entertainment program of TF 1 impacted by the coronavirus crisis, will be broadcast on June 5.
