Pass the microphone '(#PasstheMic): from today, and for a few weeks, Hollywood celebrities literally pass' their' microphone to the world's leading experts of Covid-19, to echo the voices of science, data and studies on the fight against the pandemic. With the aim of countering the spread of fake news.

Famous faces such as Julia Roberts, Hugh Jackman, Sarah Jessica Parker thus 'give' access to their social media accounts - and therefore to the millions of 'followers' - to scientists, politicians, doctors, economists and frontline workers against the virus.

The initiative - launched by 'One Campaign', the global organization for the prevention of poverty and communicable diseases - starts today: Anthony Fauci, the world's greatest immunologist and member of the White House task force on SARS-Cov-2, will 'look' on Julia Roberts' Instagram account.

Then, among others, Rita Wilson - the actress wife of Tom Hanks, who was hit and survived the infection with the virus - will also give up her 'accounts'. Twitter, Facebook, snapchat, Instagram of known faces will be so taken by debates and explanations on the spread and prevention methods of covid-19.

"Fighting the virus means listening to experts, following facts and scientific information - said the president of 'ONE Campaign', Gale Smith - this group of talents and international experts will explain the need for a global response to the pandemic. Why "none of us are safe until each of us is safe."
