First publication: Tzipi Shavit in negotiations for joining Festigel.

This is quite the year for Comet: After lighting a beacon on Independence Day and becoming an Instagram star with 154,000 followers, she is on her way back to the big Chanukah show.

Shavit, 73, has previously performed at Festigal 1982, Festigal 1996 and Festigal 2005. In recent years she has appeared in several competing Chanukah shows. If there are no last-minute changes, she will return to Festigal after a 15-year hiatus.

This year the festival will mark 40 years and the production will try to return to the routine and produce a show in accordance with the restrictions and guidelines.
