Last-minute attempts to prevent the release of the revealing book about the Trump family have failed: A judge from New York this week rejected a petition by Robert Trump, the brother of the President of the United States, to stop the publication of the scandalous book written by his niece Marie Trump. .

In a 20-page decision, Judge Hal Greenwald explained that Robert Trump's petition to stop the publication did not meet the conditions set by the law, as he said the news about the book's content "has already reached millions of people due to the much media attention it has attracted."

The court ruling was given the night before the release of Marie Trump's book "Too Much and Never Enough - How My Family Created the Most Dangerous Man in the World," which hit stores yesterday (Tuesday). "The court has done justice in rejecting the Trump family's efforts to silence Marie Trump's basic political right, on an issue of great public significance," the book's lawyer said in a statement. "Now the American people will be able to read Marie's important words himself."

"The right to publish is a sacred American freedom," said a statement from Simon and Schuster, in which the book is controversial. "We applaud the court for its approval and decision to go out against restraining orders aimed at stopping books before they are published."

Donald Trump's younger brother tried last month to stop the book from coming out, claiming he was violating a secret agreement signed by Marie Trump in front of her family, following a dispute between the parties over the division of the assets of the president's late father, Fred Trump. In that case Marie and her brother claimed that Donald and his brother had deprived them of their share of the inheritance. But according to Judge Greenwald, the fact that a confidentiality agreement was signed between the two parties in the past does not prevent her from publishing details about her family today. "At the time of writing, the Trump family was one of New York real estate and developers and not much more than that," the judge explained. "They were not elected officials or television personalities." The judge added that Robert Trump did not explain to the court how publicity The book would hurt him, calling his accusations against his niece "unfounded."

• Ready? Hagar and Nir return to the screen

• Courtyard: "Bar Mitzvah - an indecent act"

Another judgment of the judge was that thousands of copies of the book had already been sent to the bookstores at the petition stage, and he referred in his reasoning to another court decision in which the President failed to prevent the publication of a book about him. So it was a book written by John Bolton, Trump's former national security adviser. The judge explained that in his considerations he also took into account the "enormous potential cost and logistical nightmare involved in stopping the publication of the book, and collecting hundreds upon hundreds of copies from a variety of types of stores and libraries."

In interviews promoting the book, which reportedly hit stores in the United States yesterday, Marie Trump implored her aunt to "resign." The book provides a rare glimpse into the family life of the President of the United States, and it purports to document how the personality of the incumbent Free World leader was shaped.
