About 150 people attended the event. Some, misrepresented, tried to damage the gate that prevents them from approaching the Turin-Lyon construction site, others threw stones and artifices aimed at the police, who responded by throwing some tear gas. Nobody was hurt.
The No Tav protest a few hours before the start of the 'three days of struggle' organized by the Popular Struggle Committee of Brussels. At the end of the assembly convened last night in Gaglione, which opened the weekend, the demonstrators improvised a procession along the paths of the Val Clarea during which there was the throwing of stones. Another 'NoTav walk' is announced for this afternoon, starting at 2.00 pm from the Giaglione sports field.
