(ANSA) - NEW DELHI, JULY 20 - India has today recorded a record increase of over 40 thousand new cases of Covid19, exceeding the million 118 thousand positive: the Ministry of Health announced this morning.
The total death toll rose to 27,497, with 681 deaths recorded yesterday.
The last 100 thousand new cases are registered in just three days from reaching the first million positive. According to the ICMR, the National Council of Medical Research, the leap record is due to the equally record number of tests performed in yesterday's single day: 256,039. (HANDLE).
