At the beginning of a new phase of quarantine, the Ministry of Health of the Nation indicated that in the last 24 hours, 3,937 new cases of coronavirus and 113 deaths were confirmed.
On Monday morning the health portfolio had reported 21 deaths, 17 men and four women. Ten of them from the province of Buenos Aires; nine from the city of Buenos Aires, one from Chaco and one from Río Negro.
The total of confirmed cases until morning (49.4% women and 50.6% men), 0.9% were imported, 31.7% are close contacts, 50.2% have community circulation and the rest are in in epidemiological research. The total of discharges is 55,913 people.
On Sunday, 11,068 new samples had been made and since the start of the outbreak, 552,306 diagnostic tests had been carried out for the disease, which is equivalent to 12,171.6 samples per million inhabitants.
On the first day of the new phase of quarantine at AMBA, non-essential businesses began to open their doors with little movement. On a tour, Clarín found that in commercial areas there were more closed than open premises : many of them forever.
