(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 02 SEPT - Harry and Meghan conquer Hollywood in the wake of Barack and Michelle Obama.

The Dukes of Sussex have founded a production company and signed a multi-year agreement with Neflix that will pay them to make documentaries, films, TV series and children's programs.

The agreement gives Charles and Diana's second child and the former "Suits" actress a vast global platform six months after the sensational 'divorce' from the Windsor house.

The Dukes may appear in person in documentaries but, as Meghan has repeatedly reiterated, there is no mention for her of a return to the profession of actress.

Netflix will have the exclusivity of all the products fired by the company of the Dukes.

"Our goal is to create content that informs but also asks for hope", said the Sussexes, explaining that, "in the new parents' years", it is important for them to create "inspirational family programs".

Two weeks ago Variety had revealed exclusively that the couple had initiated concrete steps with the studies at the beginning of the summer, carrying around between Disney, Apple and Nbc the proposal of one of their projects so far absolutely top secret.

They have now said that they have chosen Netflix for its "unprecedented ability" to reach its 193 million subscribers "content that will impact and cause action".

Meghan returned a few months ago to work in Hollywood but it was for charity, lending her voice to the Disney + docuser "Elephants" which debuted in April on the instreaming channel, with the proceeds going to the ElephantsWithout Borders organization that takes care of elephants in Botswana.

As for Harry, before giving up on the royal titles, he announced that he would be working with OprahWinfrey on an Apple TV + series on mental health.

Then, in early August, the Duke had a surprise appearance in the trailer for the Netflix documentary "RisingPhoenix" about the history of the Paralympic Games.
