This little paper is making a big comeback, after being abandoned on May 11 by the majority of French people.
This Wednesday, during his interview on France 2 and TF1, Emmanuel Macron announced that a curfew will be introduced from 9 p.m. in Ile-de-France and in 8 metropolises in France (Grenoble, Lyon, Aix-Marseille , Montpellier, Lille, Saint-Etienne, Rouen and Toulouse), faced with the resurgence of the coronavirus
But some people may indeed be exempted from this obligation of local night confinement.
To do this, they will have to bring the exceptional travel certificate, such as that requested during confinement, between the months of March and May.
Controls in place
People forced to go to work in the evening, or those who can prove pressing needs or emergencies (family, health-related ...), will be able to go out but will have to justify this displacement.
"Obviously, for all those who return from work after 9 p.m. or those who work at night, there will be an authorization, as well as for those who have health emergencies", underlined Emmanuel Macron, adding that he " 'there will not be a ban on driving between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., but a strict limitation ”.
“We will no longer go to restaurants, to friends' houses, to party […] after 9 pm, insisted the head of state.
Controls will be carried out, warned the president with “fines as there are already, of 135 euros”.
And remember that "in the event of a repeat offense, it is 1500 euros".
