(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 12 - The metro stops in Piazza di Spagna and Flaminio closed on Saturday and Sunday, from 10/11 to 19/20, and restricted accesses to the main shopping streets with access points that reached a "level" of saturation "will distribute people on neighboring streets.
These are some of the anti-assembly measures decided by the Committee for order and security chaired by the prefect of Rome Matteo Piantedosi.
Under the lens also the main parks of the capital and the coast.
There will be four 'access regulation points' in the area of via del Corso and Tridente over the weekend, in the center of the capital: in piazza del Popolo, piazza di Spagna, Largo Goldonie Largo Chigi.
These points will have the task, if the main roads exceed the 'saturation threshold', to distribute evenly the transit of people on the adjacent streets.
These points will be manned in a particular way by the local police and civil protection who will manage the flow of people in a 'dynamic' way.
When a road saturation is reported from the helicopter or from the cameras of the police headquarters, the gates will direct people to the adjacent streets.
According to what has been learned, the closure of the metroSpagna and Flaminio stations on Saturday and Sunday is "functional" to the device foreseen for the quota of presences on the shopping streets.
Similar modules will also be implemented in via Cola di Rienzo, via Candia, via Ottaivano and via Giulio Cesare where, in the event of a gathering, some parts of the streets will be temporarily closed for vehicular transit, creating 'spot' pedestrian areas to decongest the crowding. (ANSA).
