Barilla has been rewarded for how it has become a model company for the inclusion of its LGBTQ + employees and all the under-represented groups.

From 2013 to 2020 in Barilla, the representation of women who report directly to the CEO increased from 8% to 28%.

From 2014 to 2020, the presence of women grew from 23% to 36% even in positions that respond directly to the global leadership team.

In positions reporting directly to senior leaders it went from 40% to 47% and in leadership positions globally it went from 33% to 38%.

Furthermore, in 2020, Barilla achieved 'gender pay equality' for all its employees in the world: with the same qualifications and duties, men and women have the same salary.
