(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 27 - More than 18,000 deaths from Covid-19 were recorded in 24 hours all over the world: a new record, according to the count made today by the AFP based on the reports communicated by the health authorities.

In particular, 18,109 deaths are reported.

From 20 to 26 January, the world recorded 101,366 deaths, or 14,000 on average every day: it was the week with the most victims since the beginning of the epidemic.

At the end of November, the average was 10,000 deaths per day.
