At Kaplan Medical Center, a 39-year-old Corona patient is hospitalized in general intensive care and is anesthetized and resuscitated.

The mother, who is not vaccinated against corona, arrived at the hospital two days ago, complaining of difficulty breathing.

Due to a rapid deterioration in her respiratory condition, the medical staff decided to give birth to the baby, and performed an emergency caesarean section on her yesterday (Saturday), in the 34th week of her pregnancy.

In addition, another 29-year-old woman is hospitalized at the hospital, suffering from corona in the 13th week of her pregnancy.

She is also not vaccinated.

She arrived about a week ago, and last week was transferred to general intensive care.

Her condition has improved in recent days, but she is still hospitalized in critical condition.

Dr. Yelena Kishnevsky, Director of General Intensive Care, said: “Unfortunately, we are once again encountering pregnant women who are severely affected by corona.

"The 39-year-old woman's condition deteriorated very quickly, so we had to perform an emergency caesarean section so that we could continue to treat her."

"At the same time, the mother herself is breathing and anesthetized, and we continue to fight for her life. Pregnant women, especially those in the third trimester of pregnancy, should be vaccinated in order to reduce their chances of contracting corona and allow them to complete the pregnancy safely."

Benefit in the situation of two mothers from a beautiful praise

Meanwhile, Hillel Yaffe Medical Center updated that there has been a significant improvement in the condition of the two mothers who fell ill in Corona and were in critical condition.

One will be released to her home soon, the other conscious and communicating with the staff in the ward.

Both mothers were hospitalized in a very serious condition more than a week ago.

They were born by emergency caesarean section, and the babies were hospitalized in good condition in preterm labor.

During the week, their condition improved.

One of them, Galit Yaakovov, 30, from Pardes Hanna-Karkur, is also expected to be released to her home soon.

The condition of the second mother is defined as still difficult, but stable.

She is conscious and communicates with the staff in the ward.

Another pregnant woman who fell ill in Corona and was hospitalized in fair condition was released home as early as this weekend in good condition.

Yakubov, who is now on her feet, spoke today with Dr. Tatiana Mikhalov, director of the Infectious Diseases Department, and thanked her for the dedicated care she received throughout her hospitalization: "I received dedicated care from every staff member in the department.

They encouraged me and strengthened me all the time.

The hospital and ward did over and over so I could recover and return home.

The preterm labor team also took the trouble to document and photograph my baby and send me pictures all the time, including an update on her condition.

Amazing one-on-one.

Thank you very much everyone. "
