Silver to the Slovak Petra Vhlova in 1.45.50 and bronze in 1.41.48 to the American Mikaela Shiffrin, fourth medal in Cortina 2021.
Irene Curtoni was the best blue in the discipline in which Italy has been weakest for years. in 1.43.67 followed by Martina Peterlini 19 / a in 1.43.82.
For the Austrian she is also in her first victory in this discipline after having always been on the podium this season.
Tomorrow the special men's slalom will close the Cortina World Championships. Italy sends young Alex Vinatzer to the track - the only blue podium this season with a third place - and then the tried and tested Manfred Moelgg, Stefano Gross and Giuliano Razzoli.
