(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 20 - A Moscow court has confirmed that the opponent Alexey Navalny will have to remain in prison because he is accused of not respecting the rules of the conditional suspension of the sentence granted to him for an old and controversial sentence.

However, the court reduced the two-year and eight-month incarceration period by one and a half months, taking into account the months spent under house arrest.

This was reported by the online magazine Meduza.
