China's Rise: Not a Walk for the West

Politicians denounce human rights violations in China - and then happily continue to thread business. In the long run, the global balance of power will fundamentally shift.

In addition to »Corona«, the word that hardly anyone can see or hear - without thinking: I can no longer hear or see it - China is currently trending.

Somehow western governments, the heads of government and the media discovered this wonderful country.

"My goodness, China, really crazy," they seem to be thinking.

They aren't just there to make stupid jokes about Asians and to produce our dirt cheaply in stuffy companies (we call it outsourcing).

Sibylle Berg is a writer and playwright.

In 2019 her bestselling novel »GRM.

Brainfuck ", 2020 the discussion volume" Nerds save the world ".

Berg has received numerous awards for her literary work, most recently the "Bertolt Brecht Prize" and the "Swiss Grand Prix for Literature".

Together with Matze Hielscher she can be heard every 14 days in the podcast »Wesensfremd«.

They are correct - well, they have cars.

But no human rights, but complete monitoring.

Says the EU including Great Britain, which drowns those seeking protection in the sea or stowed them in camps every day, the humane EU, which makes a pact with Turkey, presumably to discreetly remove these asylum seekers.

Meanwhile, Biden reprimands the Chinese government, the Swiss government concludes agreements, but stands by its values.

(Excuse all the links, that's what they do today, for credibility, it's called Wikipediasing the truth - what was in the paper somewhere applies).

So, everyone is shaken by the Chinaization of the world, which will become the world's number 1 power unaffected.

Nothing more than a restoration of former greatness.

And now, once again, I recommend you a great book.

It is from Parag Khanna and is called "Our Asian Future".

If you have read this, you will understand a little more about the arrogance of the West, and also about the madness with which western infrastructure and companies are enthusiastically sold to Chinese investors through greed for money and lust for dividends.

It is best to read these sources yourself, here for example, and there.

I believe: Of course, the shift in the balance of power will not be a walk in the park for the West, who likes to give up power?

If there is any doubt, if there is still something like air to breathe and water to drink and a few animals, it will be a geopolitically and economically less important existence for future generations.

And that's probably well deserved.

The world leader USA and his buddies in Europe showed how determined sovereign trade works during the pandemic.

In other words: You really showed Asia how cohesion and planning work.

From standardized vaccine production and its distribution worldwide to cohesion in the procurement of masks, standardized border regulations and solidarity.

Well, kidding aside.

Speaking of drugs: The fact that antibiotics production in Europe comes from Asia is not new either.

There are simple ways to give the western countries new tasks.

And as always: stay calm.

The markets will fix it.
