50 million vaccines by June, so far arrived 14

In April, the delivery of 8 million vaccine doses is expected in Italy, or 15% of all arrivals scheduled in the second quarter (April-June) of 2021, or 50 million. With regard to the past month, with the arrival of over 1.3 million doses of AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), which reached the national defense hub of Pratica di Mare in the last few hours, the supply of vaccines for the first quarter has been concluded 2021: in all almost 14 million (but based on the initial contracts with Pfizer-BioNtech, Moderna and AstraZeneca, more than 28 million 'shots' were expected). Pfizer sent the 8.7 million doses agreed by March 31 - albeit with some intermediate delays - and Moderna with its 1.3 million. AstraZeneca delivered just a quarter - 4 million - of the promised doses, 16 million. Beyond the deliveries of Pfizer and AstraZeneca scheduled for next week, the new Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine will be distributed in Europe from 19 April and 400,000 doses are initially planned for Italy. In general, the vaccination campaign continues at progressively higher rates, reaching 11 million doses at national level, about 6 million of which in the month of March alone.
