The boards of directors of Audipress and Audiweb unanimously approved the merger plan between the two companies, which will give life to a new company called Audicomm and which will create a new 'Joint industry committee' in the coming weeks "with the task of develop a new integrated survey between digital audiences and print readerships ".
This was announced in a press release from Audipress, in which it is specified that the transaction will be submitted to the shareholders' meetings of the two companies on 14 May and that the new JIC will establish its governance and will be operational on the same day to all intents and purposes.
The merger comes after about a year of negotiations between the two companies chaired by Ernesto Mauri and Marco Muraglia, with Audicomm that "will bring together all the most significant components of the Italian publishing, digital, advertising market, thus equipping our country, among the first to European level, of an advanced tool for measuring audiences on the various platforms ", continues the press release, according to which" at the same time, a request for methodological proposals for the new integrated survey (Rfp, Request for proposal) ".
