(ANSA) - NEW YORK, MAY 17 - Via the mask indoors for vaccinated people in the state of New York. The end of the obligation was announced by Governor Andrew Cuomo himself. Eventually, Cuomo complied with the new guidelines from the CDC, the government agency that deals with public health, after dictating last week that those guidelines were under consideration by a commission of state experts.
However, the obligation still remains for schools, hospitals and public transport.
Currently over 52% of adult New Yorkers are fully vaccinated and nearly 62% have received at least one dose. In total 17 million and 600 miladoses were administered. (HANDLE).
