(ANSA) - MOSCOW, JUN 10 - A court in Moscow has branded the political organizations led by the Russian president in prison Alexei Navalny as 'extremist', banning all activities and making personnel liable to criminal proceedings.
A Moscow city court statement said Navalny regional network offices and its anti-corruption organization were labeled extremists and banned with immediate effect for "disseminating information inciting hatred and contempt against government officials." Prisoned Russian dissident AlexeïNavalny commented on the Moscow court's decision to declare his 'extremist' organizations saying he "will not back down". "We will manage, we will evolve, we will adapt. But we will not back down from our goals and our ideas. This is our country and we have no others," Navalny wrote on his Instagram account after the decision was announced. (HANDLE).
