The positivity rate, according to government figures, drops below 2%.

Symbolically, France also passes under the bar of 13,000 hospitalizations: there are 12,712 this Friday, against 13,090 Thursday.

In the last 24 hours, however, we note that 313 people have been hospitalized, compared to 297 the day before.

66 new critical care admissions

The number of new people admitted to critical care in the past 24 hours has also fallen, from 74 Thursday to 66 today.

However, the epidemic continues to take lives in France, even if the peak was crossed several weeks ago now.

In the last 24 hours, 69 new deaths have been recorded in France, 68 Thursday.

Since the start of the epidemic, 110,339 deaths from Covid-19 have been recorded in France.
