A one year old boy apparently survived a fall from a height of around seven meters unharmed.

The child had fallen from the second floor of his family's apartment, said the police in Greifswald.

According to initial findings, the boy apparently climbed over a sofa and a windowsill in an unobserved moment and then fell into the depths.

According to the police, the 30-year-old mother only let the child out of sight for a short time.

According to the police, rescue workers immediately took the boy to the local university clinic after an initial medical examination, but according to initial findings, he was unharmed.
